Example to plot LineGraph with GPU

Hello Mikhail,

You happen to know if there's an example in the source code on how to plot a lineGraph with the help of the GPU instead of CPU? I have DynamicDataDisplay.sln running (after some fixes).

Currently, we plot more then 5M points, although we are currently developing a pre-rendering technic to lower the number of points depending on the available pixels. But since we are going to do some heavy mathematical processing (which will be CPU intensive) we would like to use the GPU at its fullest.

Btw: thanks for this great project!

Kind regards,

Sebastien

PS: I've contacted you on twitter some time ago for rectangle selection, but I have that one solved already. I wanted to use the RectangleSelector for zooming in, so that the new zoomed-in-view is the size of the selected rectangle. I managed to solve this by changing the Viewport-size of the plotter to the size of the selected rect.

Hello Sebastien,

AFAIK there is a sample of GPU-based line chart here - http://d3commdev.codeplex.com/

But I have not worked with it and haven't integrated it into D3.

Best regards,

Mikhail.
